Evaluating a Web-Based AHU Selection Workflow
A browser-based AHU workflow should fit your engineering process, your component ranges and your document requirements. A demonstration becomes more useful when the acceptance criteria are clear in advance.
Prepare a representative unit
Bring the design airflow, pressures, temperatures, casing constraints and component selections. Include the source documents your team uses to verify the result.
Evaluate the working sequence
- Build the unit layout and review dimensions and component access.
- Enter the operating conditions and identify the supported component data.
- Change one requirement and check which selections need updating.
- Generate the PDF and DXF and inspect them in your usual review tools.
- List any additional output, approval or integration requirements for the quotation.
Agree the scope in writing
Confirm which suppliers and product ranges are included, who supplies the reference data, and what validation is required before the workflow is used on customer projects. Software calculations and supplier data do not themselves establish certification of a finished unit.
